In April 2023 I took part in 30works30days, a free month-long creative practice network for artists to make a new piece of work every day during April. It works like this: each day, you upload a new piece of work onto the 30/30 site – if you don’t, you’ll be kicked off the project (brutal!). You can work in any medium. It’s not about perfection, it’s about the practice. There’s an element of ideas over execution because of the short timeframe and I like that. It allows you to throw things at the wall and see what sticks.
