Writing support & coaching
Working together
As an accredited coach, I work with writers and creatives (artists, poets, performers, novelists, or those on the precipice of a big career switch) who are all too familiar with the ever-humbling juggle of their creative desires, daily life, work, relationships, trying to be a good citizen and a friend. I received my accreditation with Relational Dynamics 1st (equivalent to ILM Level 7) and I undertake regular supervision with an experienced coach. I have with 15 years experience in the creative industries, and in 2026 am undergoing training with National Autistic Society in order to deepen the support I can offer.
If you’re here, you likely have 879 notes full of fragments you stop to write in the middle of the pavement, a million open tabs and way too many ideas jostling. There are all these potential paths but you're not sure how to prioritise, and the structural conditions around art-making feel increasingly hostile.
You suspect deep down what you're capable of great and meaningful work, but you wish you didn’t always have to push yourself through writing projects completely alone. You’d love to get someone’s creative support in real time, so you can move forward with your delicious creative ideas and feel confident and aligned on your next steps.
My approach is about building the conditions that make sustained creative work feel fulfilling, pleasurable and deeply possible, (i.e., not just about ‘productivity’). I work with writers 1:1 or in Hopscotch, my small group container. When we work together you get creative support that meets you where you are, clarity that reveals your next steps, and accountability – all working with your actual life and rhythms.

My approach
The role of a coach is to listen and follow you in your thinking; it’s this that means you can hear yourself, and tune in to a deeper intuitive understanding unobscured by day-to-day clutter. This process reveals what you're reaching towards, so you can see it afresh in sharp focus. (We are usually circling the same things, ideas, desires; having someone with zero agenda to listen and help you identify your desires is not only essential for us as humans, it’s also very rare in daily life.)
As an accredited coach (Relational Dynamics 1st, equivalent to ILM Level 7) with 15 years working in the creative industries (publishing, journalism, communications), I bring a creativity-first approach that works with and acknowledges the complicated world we live in. I’m vehemently un-punitive in my approach to creative work.
I encourage everyone I work with to imagine this: how will your creative life look once you’ve untangled yourself from all the learned bullshit? When instead of being guided by an overly harsh or critical inner voice, creative play, pleasure and loving rigour becomes the compass?
(A kind of generosity and abundance-led belief the whole world would benefit from)
I'm a writer and artist myself, familiar with the life-long juggling of creative projects alongside everything else. Through our work together, you'll go from creative overwhelm, stasis and uncertainty about next steps to the tools and creative inputs that sustain a writing practice.
One that’s guided by clear priorities, and the momentum to keep going – even during ebbs (which inevitably return!) We create space for deep listening, introspection and creative thinking, so you can crack open delicious new creative paths and bring your work into the world. Because the world needs your work!
